All microneedling treatments at QT Hertford are delivered by our qualified practitioners using the CE-marked EXCEED Skin Pen. A full pre-treatment consultation is conducted at every first session. LED therapy, Oxygen Infusion, and Exosomes upgrades are available in the same appointment. Written aftercare is provided as standard.
A numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild prickling or warmth. The EXCEED Skin Pen's adjustable depth means sensitive areas can be treated at lower settings. Any redness typically resolves within 24–48 hours.
For general skin improvement, 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is the recommended course. For acne scarring or deeper concerns, 4–6 sessions may be needed. Results continue improving for up to 3 months after your final session as collagen production continues.
Expect redness and mild sensitivity for 24–48 hours, similar to mild sunburn. Avoid makeup for 24 hours, direct sun exposure for 48 hours, and intense exercise for 24 hours. Most clients return to normal activities the day after treatment.
LED therapy uses light wavelengths to reduce inflammation and promote healing after microneedling. Oxygen Infusion delivers active ingredients deeper into the skin.
