What are Polynucleotides
Regeneration from within.
Polynucleotides (PDRN) are fragments of DNA derived from salmon that stimulate cell repair and regeneration. Unlike fillers which add volume, polynucleotides improve the quality and health of your skin at a cellular level.
◎
Deep Regeneration
PDRN activates tissue repair mechanisms, stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. The result is improved skin density, elasticity, and hydration — not just surface-level improvement.
◎
Under-Eye Treatment
The delicate under-eye area responds well to polynucleotides — reducing dark circles caused by skin thinning, improving hollowness, and restoring the skin's resilience in this high-movement zone.
◎
Sunekos
Sunekos combines polynucleotides with a patented mix of amino acids and hyaluronic acid to restore the extracellular matrix — delivering both regeneration and hydration in a single treatment.
◎
Natural Results
Results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks as the skin regenerates. No dramatic change, no swelling — just progressively healthier, stronger, more radiant skin. Suitable for all ages and skin types.

Free consultation before every first injectable treatment. UK 2023 regulations require a prescriber consultation before certain injectables. A 2-week review is included with all treatments. Book on Booksy.
All polynucleotide and injectable treatments at QT Hertford are delivered by our qualified practitioners. All treatments operate under UK 2023 prescriber regulations with a free consultation and 2-week review as standard. Treatments include polynucleotides, Sunekos, Profhilo, and dermal fillers.
Dermal fillers add volume directly — they replace lost tissue with a gel substance. Polynucleotides work differently: they stimulate your skin's own repair mechanisms to regenerate collagen and elastin. The results are subtler and more natural, improving overall skin quality rather than adding volume.
A course of 3–4 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart is typically recommended for initial results, followed by maintenance treatments every 3–6 months. Results develop gradually and continue improving between sessions.
Minor swelling and redness at injection sites may occur for 24–48 hours. Small bumps at injection sites are normal and resolve within a few days. Most clients return to normal activities the same day. Avoid alcohol, intense exercise, and heat for 24 hours after treatment.
Sunekos is a patented formula combining polynucleotides with a specific blend of amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It targets the extracellular matrix to restore both the structural protein framework and hydration of the skin. It is particularly effective for skin laxity, fine lines, and overall skin quality improvement.
